Why BidVertiser Wants Me To Do This?
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or via Email. Thanks for visiting!
OK! I’m not supposed to be writing this article. I am in the midst of testing Bidvertiser Ads for Feed. It is supposedly a new medium of feed advertising, still in Beta, that will embed Bidvertiser Ads on my existing RSS feed.
But somehow Bidvertiser requires me to write a post that will include my verification code. Here’s what it says:
Simply add a new entry to your feed (by writing a new post in your blog for example), that includes the following code and click “Verify” once the new entry is published. Right after we verify your ownership (up to 1 minute), you may delete this entry.
It just puzzles me if this is the only way to verify the ownership of my feed. Isn’t there any other better way to verify? I believe there should be a more convenient and less-hassle way of doing it. But for now, what choice do I have?
So here’s my verification code: ahem, the code has been deleted

Update: My feed is verified. Perhaps I should choose not to delete this post and leave it as it is and see if there is anyone who has the same opinion as me. Leave your comment, will you?
Yet another update: Here’s a glance of Bidvertiser ads on my feed
Have you activated yours? Do you find any success with this kind of advertising? I’ll like to hear from.

Got something to say?
Your input matters. If you have any thoughts on ' Why BidVertiser Wants Me To Do This?', I'll be pleased to hear from you.

Hmm - I don’t think entries like this should be deleted (or changed for that matter), the true concept of a blog (IMHO) is to create a diary of fixed entries over a period of time, which act as a historical record.
Small updates are ok, as long as the existing entry is not modified.
First thing first, thank you for your humble opinion. I don’t usually document the event per see. It’s only if I think my experience of something may be beneficial to others, I’ll present it here in a simpler term.
Should I treat this blog as a diary? Maybe….I’ll look into your suggestion.
They would come up with a way to advertise on the moon if they could! haha. How has your experience with BidVertiser been so far Yan? Have you had any success with this concept?

Hey Colin
As far as Bidvertiser is concerned, I have had much success with it yet. If I were to compare the revenue from adsense, it’s CPR is just too pathetic to mention.
But everything here is still in its experimental stage so I need to give it more time to mature.
