Inspired by AdesBlog.com, I have decided to experiment with MiniPost on my blog, sort of like mini Blog or short posts that live outside of the usual hierarchy of normal postings. They are usually displayed differently from normal posts, and are occasionally placed on a different part of the blog and yet still fall into the archives.
You can see it in action on the homepage just below the navigation menu. Here I will update it with the latest discovery from around the blogosphere which may be of interest you as a reader.
Let’s do it differently – Be a Mini Guest Blogger

Here’s the deal: If you discovered stumbled upon any site which you think may deserve a place on the MiniPost, I’ll welcome you to be a Mini Guest Blogger.
All you need to do it is to write to me your suggestion on the comment section below and let me know why you think yours should be added. I’ll select the most deserved one (oh yes, I’ll moderate the inappropriate ones) and credit you when the credit is due. That’s worth one backlink for one suggestion. How does that sound?
Your suggestion should read like this:
1. [title] Blog for Beginners
2. [URL] http://thoushallblog.com
3. [description] It’s all about blogging tips for beginners and more.
4. [comment] (write it the way you think you should write it)
As I have said earlier, this is just my experimentation with MiniPost with a different twist. What I’ll hope to achieve is to collect and share all the interesting articles from around the blogosphere and build a community of sharing and learning.
Oh ya, in the spirit of sharing, do remember to zoom this article once you have made your suggestion.

And know what?I got placed in TCS, a software company!:)
Oh glad to see you around here again. You sounded very excited about your new job. What do you do? A programmer or something?
Anyway, I wish you all the best in whatever you do. Glad you are back. I kind of miss you for not being here lately.
I like this idea… it gets people a little more involved! Way to go Yan! If I think of something fitting, I’ll be sure to put it in a mini post!
Piss Biscuit’s last blog post..Getting down to business
Thanks, PB. But it’s really hard to get people to be involved in something if the incentives are not attractive. At this stage, I’m just experimenting everything I’ve learned and applying them on this blog to see what works and what isn’t. The good thing is I’m enjoying every part of it. That’s what really matters right now.
