WordPress is a powerful blogging platform and a popular one indeed. Nonetheless, at its core form, it is just too naked, if you know what I mean. It takes a little bit of dressing up with some useful plugins to make it, well, less naked (read: more functional)
Since WordPress has a large community, it makes it more worthwhile for plugin developer to create one that perform a specific function or improve the existing one. Depending on your specific blogging need, there are literally thousands of plugins for your consideration.
Where do you find WordPress Plugins?
The common method to find plugins is to Google it and browse from the list of search results. Too many choices, huh?
But what happen when you couldn’t find one that serves your need?

All you need to do is to zoom into the category and click on it where it will bring you the list of all the plugins. It’s that simple. You may also contribute by suggesting more plugins to add to the list, though every single submission is done manually which is kind of time consuming on the part of the owner.
Though it may not be the best source of plugins yet, its simplicity is commendable. If it can build a user-generated community with auto submission, I will place my bet on it.

Great find. I have done searches for plugins that do specific thinks and end up looking for hours. This site will save me at least a little time the next time I’m looking.

@Stephan: Thanks for your wonderful comment. I have been using it quite often lately myself. I reckon given time it will be a one-stop place for WP plugins.
I do hope they will change the interface to make it more web 2.0 and build a community around it, something like iusethis.com

many of the plugins are not working … like i tried a plugin for images .. but the url was not working.
@Puneet: Oh really? Have you contacted them about the broken links? We all make mistakes sometimes, do we? Overall, it is a good source of plugins you can rely on for your next plugin search.
The info on plugins are very useful … and i got some of my needful plugins from there too …
i just only wanted to make aware that few of the plugins are with broken links … overall its a good find by u frd …
